**The Role**
The company house the only national TB testing laboratory exclusively dedicated to performing the T-SPOT.TB test. Working under supervision you would take responsibility for preparing and conducting diagnostic tests using T-SPOT technology. Tests currentlyperformed include those for SARS-CoV-2 and for Tuberculosis.
You will be expected to
- Ensure that work is completed to agreed timelines to meet both the laboratories and customers service requirements
- Identify and raise any issues or concerns with line manager that may cause a service delay
- Prioritise workload to ensure key targets and objectives are met on time.
- Achieve competency in the T-SPOT techniques including manual and automated processing.
- Ensure that the Quality Management System is adhered to at all times and in all aspects of the job
- BSc or equivalent in a life sciences / research and development discipline
- An understanding of the healthcare, diagnostic and/or pharmaceutical industries
- Previous experience working in a GMP laboratory, in industries such as diagnostic, medical or pharmaceutical
- Familiarity with Quality System concepts and requirements including GMP and ISO systems
- Strong IT skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc competency
- Ability to organise, multi-task and prioritise a busy workload
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes
