**The Role of a Meeting and Events Coordinator**:
We are looking for an inspiring Meeting and Events Coordinator to own this department and take it to the next level.
What is the main purpose of the role?
Proactively convert key event business of provisional Conference, Corporate and Banqueting business for your property.
**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
**- **Be proactive in converting key events business via showround’s mainly focusing on business from £10,000 - £25,000.
- Converting live enquiries into confirmed sales by completing daily chase calls and activities.
- Identify group opportunities from new appointments.
- Ensure that all clients and potential clients receive a showround, including research prior to meeting the client, booking hospitality suites.
- Ensuring the hospitality suite is up to date with new marketing material.
- Must achieve over 85% in Service Scan Showrounds.
- Assist in booking internal meeting space relating to key showrounds on the property.
- Assist the Conversion Manager in writing contracts and updating contract details with any amendments and changes of contact details.
- Ensure Reslynx system is up to client with client details.
- Ensure that personal activities in Reslynx are at 0% by 17:00 every day.
- Keeping the provisional report list up to date detailing key information that could aid conversion of business.
- Follow up on all conference/events/banquets to secure future dates from past clients.
- Attend and host client FAM trips.
- Ensure all sales activity is captured in SFA and 85% compliance is achieved.
- Ensure all actions and activity complies with the Company Sales SOP manual.
- Personally account manage a defined portfolio of accounts to secure new business levels, grow revenues through defining market segments and drive potential contractual status for the group.
- Implement activity and work initiatives outlined in the Sales and Marketing plan.
- Development of sales strategies to drive revenue targets and achieve budget requirements.
- Meet and exceed client expectations in terms of support, quality and service and to communicate identified client needs effectively.
- Be aware of overall company needs including spotlight properties and Hot Dates.
- Consistently present a professional image - verbal, written and face-to-face.
- Attend internal meetings where appropriate.
- Personally carry out at least 5 showrounds per week.
- Pro-actively promote the entire Group at every sales opportunity and feed new leads into the centre for further research development.
- To actively promote the Company in a professional manner both internally and externally, including attendance of client events, networking and familiarisation visits as required.
- Influencer across all customer types, with clear experience and results in the conference and training market.
- Communicate with Sales Office Manager on a daily basis activities/ appointments and key wins.
- Work with the Sales Office Manager to ensure there is clarity on pricing, booking processes and marketing collateral.
- Work with Sales Office Manager to ensure there are the tools to analyse the best fit customers and support on key business opportunities.
- Submit a financial and KPI monthly report to Sales Office Manager.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
