Oversee propositions capability, including design and development, to support Group strategy. Ensure client need, satisfaction and experience are key components of future proposition development. **Outcomes of the Role** - Oversight and management of a Group-wide propositions capability across all target markets and business channels, with appropriate governance and reporting in place. - A range of client facing propositions that are calibrated to meet multiple client needs recognising life-stage, investment risk appetite and channel preferences. - Proposition development should be conceived at both individual and portfolio level, aligned to wider client strategy and be able to influence prioritisation decisions for business and marketing strategies. - Support client segmentation which is rooted in market and identified client needs and solutions designed to meet those needs and distributed to clients who have those needs. - A champion for innovation and increased pace in take-to-market initiatives - Market scanning and reporting in place to improve benchmarking for fair value; VFM for clients; total costs to client; competitor awareness; business leadership knowledge and decision making. Ongoing consideration of new analysis tools, e.g. behavioural economics. - Proposition choice criteria to include client insights, brand, channel and target markets, marketing strategy - Provide the business with an in-house source of innovation and fresh thinking in Proposition strategy. - Client and User Experience design standards that deliver against brand, client expectations and proposition promises recognising Rathbones blend of human and digital contact points. - Elevates and champions client experience across the firm; setting standards of continuous improvement. **Knowledge, Skills and Experience** - Strong knowledge of Wealth Management and Investment industry, commercial and regulatory frameworks. - Excellent knowledge of client journey and investment process. - Analytically strong, with ability to interpret data from multiple sources. - Relevant technical knowledge, familiar with propositional development and governance frameworks. - Able to think conceptually and convert to actionable plans. - Strong influencer, able to manage wide group of key stakeholders. - Flexible approach, able to adapt to changing business landscape and range of priorities. - Naturally collaborative, able to listen and problem solve. - Knowledge hungry with keen interest in industry, product and technology developments. - Understanding and appreciation of regulatory expectations regarding proposition design, delivery and oversight.
