A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a banking lawyer to join the close-knit and highly experienced legal team based in London. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will support the Corporate& Investment Banking business on all its international activities. This broad role will focus primarily on providing legal, regulatory, reputational and transactional advice and support to the business, including drafting and negotiating LMA documentation.There will be further opportunities to get involved in the more general legal activity of the group as whole. You will be running and managing your own transactions, which will include regular interaction with business stakeholders and external counsel. Youwill be UK or common law qualified, with excellent training and solid general banking/leveraged finance/LMA experience. You will have a track record of supporting and managing complex cross-border investment banking deals for multinational clients. The rightpersonality and cultural fit is paramount: you will be commercially minded with an enquiring mind who understands the need to be a true partner across the business.
