**Accounts Assistant**
4 Day or a 5 Day Week - Permanent Position
Location - Accrington Lancashire
Pay - £22,000 to £32,000 per annum
Benefits - Employer Pension, 30 Days Holidays Inc. Bank Holidays, On Site Parking
Preferred Working Hours - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm(could consider a 4 Day Week)
Manufacturing Company working with Local Authority & National House Builders with a Portfolio of Investment Rental Property and been trading for 20 Years.
We are currently looking to recruit an ambitious, maticulate, organised, experienced office Accounts Administrator.
Duties & Experience Required:
- Processing sales and purchase orders on Sage 50.
- Ensure Sales & Purchase Invoices are matched with correct POD with correct prices charged.
- Monitoring delivery notes & reconciling Monthly Statements.
- Raise Sales & Purchase Invoices & Monthly Statements.
- Raise credits where appropriate
- Creating Sage Reports, Reconciling, credits
- Reconciling Accounts & Investigating anomalies
- Inputting new products codes for customers and suppliers
- Processing supplier payments monthly
- Match Credit card Invoices and process on sage
- Submitting VAT Returns & VAT Reversal experience is an Advantage and prepare for end of year accounts.
- Follow up outstanding Debtors and if required take County Court Action
- Reconcile bank account daily, Accounts & Investigating.
- Electronic & Manual Filing and Scanning.
- Up Date Cash Flow, Process Weekly Pay Role Payments (experience is an advantage), Check & Pay Weekly Expenses, Monitor Fuel & Mileage.
- Rental Property (prepare paperwork and follow up rent, etc)
- Dealing with telephone enquiries and quotes.
- General day to day office duties and keep office clean and tidy.
- Liaise with other departments
- Dealing with reasonable business requests by the director
- Answering incoming calls
- Check Post daily
