This is a full time, staff position and will be based from our client's office in the West End of Aberdeen. You will be joining an organisation on an exciting growth journey which offers excellent development and progression opportunities. The role would suit a university graduate or someone early in their tax career who is enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop.
Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, you will provide tax support to the group and its subsidiaries. Preparation of corporation tax filings
Assist with the Group reporting by preparing tax calculations and maintaining accurate tax ledgers
Prepare tax workings for statutory accounts and respond to audit queries
Assist with Group Payment Arrangement and quarterly tax payments
Prepare and file the annual P11d & PSA employee tax returns
Maintain tax databases and records
Assist with ad-hoc queries
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline or have relevant experience in a similar position. You will be able to work with software such as excel and have good analytical skills.
