**We have an exciting opportunity for Goods Inwards Operator - Counterbalance and Reach Truck to come and join our team here in Birmingham.** **Qualifications and Experience Levels**: - **Must** have current valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licence(s) - Have experience of warehouse replenishment activities - Have experience in receiving product into a business and "Goods Receiving" (GRN) **About the Company** Shaftec has been supplying remanufactured and new parts to the motor trade for over 20 years and is now firmly established as the leading transmission, steering and braking supplier to the UK aftermarket. Not only do we offer customers the largest range of premium products, backed by the highest levels of availability but also exceptional customer service. **About the Role**: Working to strict safety and quality requirements, help to achieve daily product replenishment requirements. Working from a priority list, goods will be taken from stock areas and replenished on pickface locations to ensure highest levels of product availability for our customers. Working within a team, the use of counterbalance and reach type trucks will feed your colleagues their daily work schedules. Also, you will carry out direct replenishment activities when truck duties are not required. This vacancy is for our Goods Receiving area. You will be working and reporting to the area leader responsible for Goods Inwards. If that isn’t enough, following a busy week at work our team enjoy the benefit of finishing early on a Friday **Key Responsibilities**: - Use counterbalance and reach trucks to access product and service team colleagues with daily work schedules. - To replenish goods in line with priority listing - taking from stock locations and replenishing into pickface locations. - To add and delete locations as and when necessary to maintain high levels of location accuracy. - To receive deliveries and put away in stock or pickface locations in line with requirements and updating our business system to reflect and confirm deliveries. - To raise any discrepancies that may be identified with area leader. - Work at target rate and to standard operations. - Maintain high levels of housekeeping in your area of responsibility. removing empty pallets to recycling points etc. - Contribute to continuous improvement activities. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £23,790.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company pension - Cycle to work scheme - Employee discount - On-site parking - Referral programme - Store discount Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Reference ID: GI FLT Ops Expected start date: 10/02/2025
