Gesban is a dedicated professional team who provides and develops effective financial processes, accounting and reporting with strong independent control, to Santander.
**The difference you’ll make.**
- Managing a team of Finance Associates including responsibility for performance management and appraisal
- Ensuring accounting ledgers are maintained appropriately in a timely manner to facilitate the reporting requirements of the
- Ensuring that monthly and quarterly reporting is accurate and is delivered on time across the team
- Responding to queries from key stakeholder such as the client, internal/external audit and Group Reporting
- Performing required reconciliations on trial balance accounts for all entities under your responsibility to the stipulated deadlines and the resolution of arising differences
**What you’ll bring.**
- Part-qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA/equivalent or qualified by experience in accountancy role
- Good experience of leading a small team
**It would also be nice for you to have.**
- Understanding account payables and receivables
- Excel skills - intermediate
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and to work well under pressure
**What else you need to know.**
This is a permanent position offering a hybrid working model, where you will be expected to work from the Milton Keynes office 2 days/week.
