**Job description**:
This post is for an Executive Officer within the Programme Management Office (PMO). Undertaking a diverse range of business support functions to support the delivery of the programmes various projects.

**Description of Role**:

- Support a variety of activities relating to the successful delivery of ongoing projects within the programme.
- Use Microsoft documents to track, maintain and monitor sensitive data around recruitment, training, capability, risks and governance forums.
- Ensure projects develop and maintain appropriate project documentation e.g., Business Cases, Project Plans, Risks and Issues Logs, Lessons Learned reports.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with programme and project managers, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
- Take a proactive approach in your own learning and development along the Project Portfolio Management profession career path.
- Be able to challenge current ways of working and suggest change and improvements on PMO processes throughout the lifecycle of the project.

- Be able to organise your workload, prioritise actions and divide your time effectively, in a fast-paced environment.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to deliver messages effectively so that they land positively with colleagues.
- Ability to listen actively and respond to feedback.
- Can work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Be flexible with a can-do attitude to take on ad-hoc task to meet the team's needs.
- Be confident in using Microsoft Office software products specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Outlook.
