Our client is a globally respected engineering organisation, providing white collar, Blue collar and engineering services to many sectors including energy, aerospace, marine and defence. On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a **Project Lead** for a **12 Month** contract based **Remotely.**

**Purpose of the Project Lead**:

- The Project Lead will take responsibility for the delivery of small projects or workstreams within a larger project.

**As a Project Lead you will be responsible for**:

- Project Lead will take responsibility for the delivery of small projects or workstreams within a larger project.
- Accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work.
- Act as the focal point for all aspects related to the packages of work.
- Provide information necessary to make management decisions to the key stakeholders.
- Ensure the creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules.
- Organize and chair schedule review meetings and report areas where executive decisions need to be made.
- Ensure the implementation of company management processes is effective and efficient.
- Develop / implement Project Management best practice in line with company management processes.
- Provision of basic guidance to others regarding the Project Management processes and the operation of the project management systems / tools / methods.

**What we require from the Project Lead**:

- Experience of working in a variety of project roles in projects of limited complexity with personal accountability for Quality, Time, Cost and Performance elements.
- Experience of working with Integrated Master Schedules / Costs and earned value management methodologies.
- Working towards or ideally have accredited / membership level of externally recognised Project Management Professional Bodies (e.g. APM, PMI).
- Experience in multiple stages of a project lifecycle and has been responsible for the delivery of one or more of these stages.
- Proven people and stakeholder skills at all levels of an organisation.
- Experience in delivering limited complexity projects having worked in most of the phases of these and able to demonstrate their influence on the outcome/delivery (Ideally).
- Exposure to non-core project management roles such as purchasing, commercial, engineering management etc. Proven ability to lead and train in all aspects of Project/ Programme Management competences.
