This Data Engineer role operates within the telecoms sector with one of the great companies that operate within the U.K. They are striving to push the boundaries facing the sector to release the potential for an improved tomorrow.
**The Role**
As a Data Engineer, you can expect the following:
- Assures a high quality and comprehensive data flow and manage a team that provides a consumption layer where the business has access to all the data it needs
- Applies specialist data expertise to develop and advise approaches on a range of complex, high impact data solutions a services
- Assures data availability and quality in Digital and across all CFUs for BT
- Helps to resolve technical problems
- Proactively identifies new potential data sources and assess the feasibility of ingesting
**Your Skills And Experience**
The successful Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
- Can deliver complex big data solutions with structured and unstructured data
- Background in machine learning & software engineering frameworks such as TensorFlow or Keras
- Experience in building large scale data pipelines on at least one Cloud Platform (GCP and AWS preferred)
- Solid Python data and development experience with major SDKs / packages.
**The Benefits**
The successful Data Engineer will receive a salary of up to £65,000 a great working from home structure (2 days in the office a week), 10% bonus, and a great pension scheme
