Due to our continued success and expansion, we are seeking to appoint an experienced administrator with immediate effect.
DES has an excellent industry reputation. A majority of our work comes from repeat business and word of mouth. It’s an exciting time for renewable energy and our company is ideally placed to capitalise on opportunities.
The role will involve a varied and challenging workload, within a constantly evolving business environment. You will join an existing successful, high-performing team.
**Responsibilities**
- **Client Communication**. Interacting with clients to provide updates on project progress, answer queries regarding electrical and renewable installations, and gather feedback post-installation. You will also help co-ordinate client orders.
- **Project Documentation Management.** Handling documentation specific to electrical and renewable energy projects, such as wiring schematics, solar panel layouts, battery storage systems, and energy efficiency reports.
- **Compliance and Regulations.** Ensuring that all projects comply with electrical safety standards, building regulations, and renewable energy guidelines, including MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) standards.
- **Liaison with Technical Teams.** Communicating effectively with electricians, engineers, and installers to coordinate project details, troubleshoot issues, and provide administrative support. This includes defects/ small works reporting and site survey co-ordination.
- **Supply Chain Coordination**. Liaising with procurement and logistics of electrical and renewable energy components.
- **Permit and Legal Document Coordination.** Assisting in obtaining necessary permits and ensuring all H&S documents are in place for electrical and renewable projects.
- **Scheduling and Planning.** Coordinating schedules for installations and maintenance of electrical and renewable energy systems, ensuring timely completion of projects - including the commissioning of systems and test certification.
- **Resource Planning**. Producing and monitoring resource project allocation systems, reporting on labour levels, and liaising with our workforce.
- **Health and Safety Compliance.** Assisting in the implementation of health and safety policies, particularly those related to electrical work and renewable energy installations.
- **Quality Assurance.** Assisting in the co-ordination of documents monitoring the quality of electrical and renewable installations, ensuring they meet company standards and client expectations.
- **Training and Development Support**. Assisting in the co-ordination of training sessions for staff on new electrical and renewable technologies, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
- **After-sales Support**. Co-ordinating after-sales service, including handling warranties and maintenance contracts and responding to client concerns post-installation.
- **Technical Support Coordination.** Assisting in with technical support internally and to clients, particularly for troubleshooting and resolving electrical and renewable systems issues.
- **Performance monitoring**. Co-ordinate tracking systems to assess project status and identify any issues.
**Dimensions of Role**:The job holder will report directly to the Contracts Manager
**Working Relationships**:The role will involve a close working relationship with various departments within DES Services Group UK (including operations, finance, design, and technical support), our supply chain and also our clients.

**Person Specification**
- Proficiency with the English language including effective oral and written communication skills is a must.

- Self-starter with the ability to work in both team and individual environments.
