**Field Service Engineer**

Our client a global, leading construction and industrial franchise are actively seeking an Field Service Engineer to join their team in Wymondham on a full-time permanent basis reporting to the Service Supervisor.

You will be working 40 hours working week, 08.00 - 16.30 with Overtime at an enhanced rate.

The main duties of Field Service Engineerare Machine Diagnostics, Servicing and Repairs to all product ranges. This is a customer facing role which requires you to build strong customer relationships within the Service sector of our business. You will needto promote and present a professional image and offer service solutions to our customers and frequently liaise with the manufacturer. The objective of this role is to provide the customer with a World Class customer service experience.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Repairing and maintaining machines on customers sites as required to ensure conformance with manufacturer’s specification
- Accurately completing all relevant paperwork daily on a phone or tablet
- Submitting daily timesheets and job cards
- Accurately ordering your parts and working closely with the parts department
- Working closely with the service supervisor
- Carrying out inspections and repairs of machines at our depot as required - in conformance with manufacturer’s specification and any regulations affecting their use
- Ensuring that there is no deficiency or defect likely to affect the safe working of a machine - and notifying appropriate manager of any defective or unsafe equipment
- Relevant experience and qualifications e.g. City and Guild, NVQ or SVQ qualifications in Construction Plant Maintenance
- Experience in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment
- Experience working on Loadalls would be advantageous
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work well in a busy environment
- Great customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with our customers
- Good IT skills
- A flexible and positive outlook with an outgoing approach to work
