Manufacturing Coordinator An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Coordinator to join a growing engineering and production team within an innovative environmental technology business. This is a hands‑on, detail‑oriented role suited to someone technically minded with an interest in electronics, hardware assembly, and IoT systems. You'll play a key part in building, testing, and preparing specialised monitoring equipment for deployment in real‑world environments. Key Responsibilities Assemble electronic and mechanical components for hardware units and deployment systems. Follow documented build procedures and checklists to ensure consistent product quality. Carry out functional testing, calibration, and configuration of sensors, communication modules (GSM, LoRa, NB‑IoT, Satellite), and power systems. Support packing, logistics, and quality control processes for outgoing orders. Maintain accurate production records, stock levels, and component usage. Assist with workshop organisation, stock management, and general maintenance. Provide occasional field support for installs, servicing, or product trials (training provided). Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback and suggest process improvements. About You Background or qualification in electronics, engineering, or a technical discipline (college‑level or higher). Practical experience with hand tools, soldering, or testing equipment – academic or hobbyist experience welcome. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment with strong attention to safety and detail. Understanding of basic electronics, wiring, and assembly procedures. Interest in environmental monitoring, sustainability, or IoT technology is a plus. Strong communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.
