Workshop Engineer

**Workshop Engineer** Our client a global, leading construction and industrial franchise based in Wymondham are actively seeking a Workshop Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the service division. You will be working 40 hours working week, Monday - Friday 08.00 - 16.30 hours, half an hour unpaid lunch break. As the Workshop Engineer you will be reporting into the Service Supervisor and mainly work on pre delivery inspections. **Key responsibilities include**: - Checking new machines - Greasing new machine - Making sure machines runs - Fixing small faults - Fixing attachments like breakers - checking they are attached right and working - Checking oil - Checking tyres - Fixing the radio - Adding items not on the original spec, like extra lights - Polishing the machine ready for the customer "dips and flips". The Workshop Engineer would be based at the depot workshop and only go out to site, if a Field Service Engineer required assistance. The Remote Engineer, who has carried out the diagnosis, would continue with the repair, unless this is something routine,which can be passed to the Workshop Engineer.
