Part-time Fostering Administrator - TheraParent Fostering
We are a small, family-run fostering agency based in Waterlooville, Hampshire. We recruit, train, supervise and support foster families and work with the children who are placed with them to help them to recover from early childhood trauma. Our company is designed to remain small, child focused and highly supportive so that we achieve great outcomes for the children our foster carers care for.
We believe in kindness and our friendly team is excellent at establishing positive and supportive relationships.
Our company is still in its infancy, however as we grow, we are beginning to look at expanding our infrastructure, starting with a part-time fostering administrator. This position is likely to grow and may become a full-time position in the future (or job share).
This role is based in our office in Waterlooville.
Day to day duties include:
- Welcoming professionals and foster parents to the office
- Completing checks and references for Form F fostering assessments
- Proactively chasing missing paperwork
- Minute taking during meetings (the ability to type accurately and quickly is essential)
- Invoicing
- Saving documents to secure files
- Using online secure systems
- Organising and attending events and activities
- Providing admin support to foster carers and staff
- Assisting the Registered Manager in daily tasks
- Supporting Supervising Social Workers with administrative needs
- Arranging and coordinating training events and panel meetings
- Writing and sending letters
- Any other duty deemed necessary by the team.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and shares our ability to “roll their sleeves up”. We are looking for someone who likes to help others and offers ideas and suggestions where improvements can be made.
Previous administrative experience is essential. A friendly and warm demeanour is essential.
16 hours per week (hours negotiable) - £19,500pa (pro rata).
