**Job Title**:Certification Inspector

**What will I be doing in this role?**
Enerveo are looking to recruit a Certification Inspector, who will examine LED installations to verify they meet the quality standards necessary for Enerveo to receive payment from the Client. They will be responsible for owning the end-to-end process of completing snagging works, checking against design and verifying the asset management system for 100% accuracy.
**Your role will involve**:
Visiting Every Unit
- The Certification Inspector will visit all newly installed LED units to inspect to ensure it meets the require quality to submit to the Client for payment. This includes; electrical installation inside the column, protective coating, root protection, attachments, size, mounting type, cable tagging, circuit information etc.
Snagging Works
- Final stage snagging works are required to be identified and managed end-to-end as efficiently as possible to allow payment in a timely manner. Liaising with and coordinating delivery and maintenance teams and managers to complete works, as well as managing this workload by effectively recording and updating data. Escalating blockers to the Certification Manager to resolve problems as quickly as possible.
Design Verification
- Ensuring the onsite installation is concurrent with design and meets the desired lighting output. Once the lighting system is complete, coordinate photometric testing to verify lighting ouput. Where the desired output is not met, liaise and coordinate with maintenance team to complete tree cutting, or provide the design team with a solution to allow redesign.
Asset Management System
- Verify onsite installations correspond with the asset management system exactly to ensure no future contractual deductions due to inventory errors. Determine whether onsite installation or the asset management system is the correct lighting system using extensive knowledge of street lighting apparatus. Where errors are found, ensure changes are completed.
Final Sign off and Submission to Client
- Manage the process from original visit to final sign off by the Certification Manager and submission to the Client. The onsite installation is electrically sound, all snagging works are completed, the installation meets design and the asset management system is correct. All data is recorded and can be verified for audit purposes, providing proof all aspects have been verified.
**What do I need to be successful in the role?**
Business Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of street lighting practises
- Familiar with supplier equipment and its uses
- Strong understanding of repair/maintenance techniques
- Extensive knowledge of PFI street lighting contracts
- Experience deliverying CIP/LED projects
- Familiar with safety practises in the work place and onsite
Essential Functional / Technical Skills
- Qualified and competent Electrician
- HERS registered
- Proficient with Microsoft software, such as Excel and Word
- Many years onsite experience
- Relevant safety qualifications
