**Purpose**:
Member of the Quality team supporting all Inspection tasks
**Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities**
- Conduct Final Inspection and Incoming Goods Inspection, ensuring goods are inspected to the required standards
- Verification of FAIRs (First Article Inspection Report) / ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Report)
- Create and update required quality documentation, inspection and rejection reports (where relevant)
- Scanning and filing all Job Packs, ISIR, Incoming Inspection Reports and Certificate of Conformity (CofC) into relevant folders
Final Inspection
- Perform finished product inspections to assure all products and materials meet or exceed internal and external customer specifications
- Complete the final production process with top covers and labelling
- Closing of Manufacturing Orders via ERP accordingly, after completing Final Inspection
- Complete relevant documentation, ready for packing
- If non-conforming, to communicate the non-conformance to Quality Engineer
FAIR / ISIR Process
- Inspects and verify incoming products by confirming to specifications, drawings, conducting visual and measurement checks and tests
- Complete FAIR / ISIR reports accordingly
- If rejected, to communicate the rejection to Quality Engineer
Incoming Goods Inspection
- Inspects and verify incoming products by confirming to specifications, drawings and conducting visual checks
- Inspects and verify incoming products after rework / repair from supplier
- Releasing parts from Quarantine accordingly, after completing inspection
- Complete relevant documentation
- If non-conforming, to communicate the non-conformance to Quality Engineer
Calibration
- Manage overall calibration process for both internal and external
- Conduct tool calibration
- Liaise with relevant people, both internally and external to coordinate calibration of tools
- Report when tools are faulty or out of calibration specification
- Coordinate with relevant department to purchase replacement tools when needed
- Always maintain professionalism, providing support within the department and across the business as is reasonably required
- Ensure compliance to company and legislative policies and procedures
- Take on any other responsibilities or tasks whenever reasonably instructed
**Key Requirements**
Essential
- Quality Inspection experience
- Ability to read drawings & specifications and relate them to the product to determine conformity
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
- Able to measure parts using basic metrology concepts and record them against drawings
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance GD&T
- Able to confidently inspect and measure parts with accuracy, using the most appropriate method and equipment
- Eye for detail
Desirable
- Good analytical and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate, competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.)
- Good communicator
