Dandara is recruiting a Construction Administrator to join the Northern Home Counties office, based in Milton Keynes.

**About the role**

The successful Construction Administrator will be reporting to the Head of Health, Safety and Environmental and will interact with a range of management, office, and site staff in their everyday role, with responsibility for the smooth running of the Dandara UK Housebuilding interested parties. The HSEQ Administrator will be responsible for assisting in the management of the HSE and Quality compliance of the Dandara UK housebuilding departments and the wider Dandara Group.

**What you will do**:

- To undertake administration support duties for the Regional Health Safety and Environmental Advisors (HSE) and Regional Quality Advisors i.e. _“Site Induct”_ pre-enrolment platform; incident/findings reporting; smart waste portal updates; DSE assessments and Health surveillence.
- Schedule/attend any meetings as requested, to record/distribute minutes to the relevant parties.
- Collate data from site inspection/quality inspection reports, and create excel spreadsheets for monthly HSEQ reports -highlighting any trends.
- Engage with internal working groups parties and external charities or organisations.
- Produce any documentation, reports, forms and information as required and communicate to the relevant individuals. regulary reviewing and updating these.
- Coordinate the monthly site visit schedule of the HSE advisors and Quality advisors.
- Provide support and guidance to the office managers/construction secretaries to ensure the Health and Safety procedures are maintained efficiently and effectively within the regional offices/sites.
- Assist with the close out process of Health and Safety or Quality non conformities issued.
- Produce safety alerts, bulletins and circulars and distribute as required.
- Regularly attend the regional businesses and sites to carryout out administration support and auditing.
- To support the wider business on HSE compliance elements.

**What you will have**:
**Essential**
- Strong IT skills including** **Microsoft Office, Coins, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and personal presentation skills, including oral and communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise and organise tasks.
- A calm disposition with the ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise workload accordingly.
- An understanding of construction and house building safety regulations and processes.
- Knowledge of current competency schemes within construction.
