Resource & Scheduling Coordinator - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
2 days ago
Do you love being busy at work, supporting others to get the job done?
As a Resource & Scheduling Coordinator you will be responsible for providing support to diverse operational teams with varying demands with responsibility for the day-to-day scheduling of work. Some duties may include keeping spreadsheets up to date (so you’ll be confident using excel) and using our systems to ensure that work is correctly booked in, so you won’t be phased by using systems.
You'll provide advice to customers and work closely with colleagues and contractors building strong relationships to ensure the best outcome every time.
We'll provide you with a structured training programme, learning alongside members of the team, enabling you to offer technical, specialist support to our operational colleagues.
Your experience - You’ll have some experience working in an administration / co-ordination role with the ability to manage a demanding and fluctuating workload. Planning digital diaries will be advantageous but not essential. The role is fast-paced and priorities do change rapidly within each day.
Your skills - You’ll be a confident user of IT & the Microsoft package, specifically excel (yes, there’s spreadsheet work). You’ll also be confident using CRM databases.
Communication - You’ll be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with internal colleagues, customers and contractors on a daily basis.
Customer service - it’s at the heart of everything we do and it’ll be a driver for you to deliver excellent customer service.
You can choose to work from the office or home that’s entirely up to you. You may be required to attend the Andover or Devizes office for team meetings and training, so being happy to travel is a must.
We invest in our colleagues because we know if they have a better day at work, the service our customers receive will be better. The Aster Offer is our offer to our colleagues to ensure they have a great day at work and includes things like:
- Flexible working - whilst some roles need to be carried out in a specific place at a specific time, where possible we encourage our colleagues to work to their own schedule at a location that suits them, their team and our business’ needs
- A focus on colleague wellbeing - workshops, an employee assistance programme offering counselling and support, mental health training and a health cash plan
- We invest in colleagues’ careers and development through our leader and colleague development frameworks
- Defined Contribution Pension and attached life assurance
- Volunteering hours available to all colleagues to enable them to give back
- Savings at cinemas, gyms, holidays, days out, various shops and eateries and lots more
- Enhanced leave
- We celebrate colleagues who go above and beyond with a range of personalised recognition initiatives, and monthly and annual awards.
To apply, please use information provided in the advert and role profile to let us know why you’d be good for the job. Please submit a copy of your up-to-date CV along with a supporting statement.
