**Job Description Summary**: The Material Operations Support function will be responsible for fulfilment across

varied supplier network to support the Materials function at GE Wales.

**Essential Responsibilities:

- Driving suppliers to ensure on time material delivery for all engines.
- Work with internal & external suppliers to drive improvements and reduction of waste.
- Work key material visit process and effective key decisions to maintain material availability for the business area.
- Key driver of quality & compliance within material function.
- Following escalation processes to ensure that key personnel are informed of critical pacing parts on engines and following GE Management systems to gain delivery commitments and improvements.
- Working with the team to identify critical material issues and help support with recovery plans.
- Ensure supplier WIP remains on schedule; solve problems as necessary to ensure a successful delivery to support our customers.
- Maintaining metrics to high standard, example Hold tickets, billing issues & QPARs.
