**Maintenance Planner - Rotherham**

Morgan King Engineering are currently partnered with a Global Manufacturing Business based in Rotherham who are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join their fast-paced Production team.

The successful Maintenance Planner will report directly into the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for the maintenance planning and scheduling tasks.

**Job Duties**:

- The principal contact and liaison between the maintenance department and the production planning departments served by maintenance, and ensures that the operation areas or functions to which they are assigned receive prompt, efficient and quality service from the maintenance function and ensures the maintenance function is given the opportunity to provide this service.
- Prior to scheduling work, verifies the availability of parts, materials and special tools required for its execution. These should have all been kitted.
- Develops a weekly maintenance work schedule - From the backlog files and with production schedule alignment
- Follows up to ensure the completed schedules and work orders are returned at the proper time. Carefully reviews completed schedules and corresponding work orders submitted by the maintenance area supervisors and monitors work order progress for any reports necessary.
- Works closely with the operation and maintenance leaders, consulting them regarding facilities or equipment to be maintained and provides recommendations concerning long-range maintenance needs and, in collaboration with production, prepares a weekly forecast of all jobs expected to be scheduled for the following week. Where justified, solicits work orders for relatively minor corrective maintenance in order to avoid major repairs at a later date.

**Salary & Package**
- £35,000 per annum - £37,000 per annum
- 25 days Holiday + bank holidays
- Monday to Friday
