**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all personnel under your supervision have undertaken the appropriate site training and are in possession of a valid SIA licence
- Be fully conversant with all client fire, emergency, and evacuation procedures
- Monitor and manage the appearance, behaviours, and standards of all security personnel in line with company policy
- Monitor and investigate all reported incidents and accidents
- Monitor faults with security-related equipment
- Be fully conversant with operational functions including access control, CCTV, detection, and alarm systems
- Ensure there are sufficient officers to cover designated duties
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Lead, manage, and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, performance management, coaching, training, and development planning

**Essential Skills**:

- Current SIA Door Supervisor Licence and SIA CCTV Licence
- Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858
- High levels of written and verbal communication skills
- Competent in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- An understanding of corporate and major events

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience in the supervision of staff is preferable
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Able to negotiate and deal with sensitive and confidential matters
- Adaptable and responsive to changes in priorities, plans, and schedules
