We’re making zero carbon happen We’re OVO Group, a big family of companies united by a single vision: to get to zero carbon, fast. We call this Plan Zero - and it shows how we’ll be fighting the climate crisis and transforming the way people use energy over the next decade. To do this, we need the sharpest minds. Are you up for the challenge? Do great green things with OVO Energy So much has changed since we launched in 2009. Our goal remains the same though: make energy cheaper, greener, and simpler. Just as it was on day one. Everyone belongs at OVO Our aim is to build a diverse and inclusive movement: teams of brilliant people, with unique talents, skills, passions, and experiences. We encourage everyone to join us, whatever your gender identity, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, life experience, or background. So please come as you are - we can’t wait to meet you. Where in the world of OVO will I be working? You’ll be working as part of the senior OVO Energy Solutions team where your team's key objective is to provide energy saving advice tailored to a customer's home. This will include making efficiency recommendations and providing an assessment of the retrofit suitability of the property. Your team could be the first point of contact for our OVO Energy customers, so you'll be expected to ensure that they can promote the benefits of low-carbon retrofit in order to help the wider team facilitate the delivery of Government initiatives such as the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme. By doing this we will help our members to reduce carbon emissions and save money on their fuel bills. What will I be doing? At OVO Energy Solutions, we’re on a mission to make our members' homes more energy efficient. The more energy efficient the home, the less heat will escape, and the less energy the home will need to use. That will result in our members saving money and cutting carbon but every home is different so we’ve launched the OVO Energy Experts service. Your role is to manage a team of Energy Experts covering a large geographical area from your base. This service comes with a range of time bound key performance indicators (KPIs) so you will also be responsible for ensuring that the department adheres to these indicators and our customers are given a ‘best in class’ offering. Key responsibilities include: Depending on the timing of this appointment it may be necessary to support the interview and recruitment process during the first phase of expansion. 0 to 10 staff members. The day to day management of this team to ensure all its deliverables are achieved, and the department's signifcant growth ambitions are carefully controlled The job of an OVO Energy Expert is to do what's best for our customers so you'll be expected to monitor the outputs of this team for quality, accuracy, consistency and compliance Our Energy Experts are usually the first point of face to face contact between a customer and our business, so you'll be expected to gather feedback on your team's performance and where neccesary, provide proposals for how we might improve things This service is covered by a detailed ‘Customer Journey’ map which sets out the process for delivering property specific and personalised Home Health Reports. The role holder will be responsible for full compliance with the customer journey and for all timelines and outputs identified The role holder will also be responsible for overseeing the future appointment process and for developing the team structure as it grows If a customer has any questions or queries relating to the Home Health Report generated for their property then the Senior DEA will be on hand to chat this through The Senior DEA is expected to keep abreast of all available funding routes and be the conduit for signposting any vulnerable customers for financial support The Senior DEA is expected to promote the benefits of low-carbon retrofit to our members and work with the fulfilment team to convert any enquiries into energy efficient installations Keep up to date with technical and administrative developments relating to low carbon retrofit, including new funding streams, changing quality assurance requirements etc and ensure that all work carried out is consistent with standards applicable at the time. Is this the job for me? Life at OVO can be quite fast-paced, where change happens quickly and so you’re comfortable dealing with ambiguity. You thrive on challenges and making a difference for our customers - our customers are at the heart of what we do, so we’re looking for somebody with a passion for providing the best service possible for our customers. You will need to be a fully qualified Level 3, Domestic Energy Assessor and have previous experience in a customer facing role at a senior management level, You'll be confident at ensuring dealings with our customers and use of their data is fair and compliant, and you should also have a proven understanding of the D
