The company started their first apprenticeship programme in June 2020 and is looking at increasing the number of apprentices they support over the next two years. The company deliver and develop a number of apprenticeships including Senior Leader level 7, Data Analysis Level 4, Business Analysis Level 4 and Children, young people and families level 4 & 5.

In this role, you will provide highly flexible, highly recognised and high-quality courses at highly competitive prices worldwide. You will report to the Programme Manager and will be responsible for the assessments, signing off of KSB and preparation for the End Point Assessment for an assigned cohort of apprentices.

To thrive in this role, you will be a skilled assessor and support apprentices to achieve their full potential.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Minimum of 1 year’s assessing experience
- Assessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent
- Teaching Qualification, PTLLS or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the sector you are assessing in
- Good IT skills including knowledge of using student portals
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer focus and ability to use initiative

**What will your role look like?**
- To always promote London Examination Board’s professional standards
- Respond professionally to our customers in a timely manner
- Lead a caseload of up to 45 apprentices (full time) and support them to achieve their apprenticeship or qualification, as well as any additional requirements such as a Diploma through to Gateway and successful End Point Assessment
- Regularly assess work and provide constructive feedback, including at quarterly review meetings and updating the E-Portfolio system
- To attend relevant employer and sector groups to raise the profile of LEB and the provisions available
- Identify and support learners with additional learning needs and successfully use the neurodiversity platform Cognassist to support this
- Support those learners who require Functional Skills in maths and/or English at Level 1 or 2
- Take responsibility to ensure safeguarding, PREVENT, British Values, Health, Safety and well-being and equality, diversity and inclusion are promoted and monitored continually in all areas of the job role
- Maintain an annual record of CPD over a minimum of 30 hours
- Attendance of assessor standardisation meetings as required
- Actively market business and learner progression opportunities
- Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by line management
