Supply Planner Logistics Coordinator

We are a local, family run, packing facility in Paddock Wood and we are looking for a Supply Planner / Logistics co-ordinator. The role is customer facing.

**Inbound Scheduling Responsibilities**
-  Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and carriers.
-  Maintain up-to-date inbound delivery calendar and communicate changes proactively.
-  Verify and process advance shipping notices (ASNs) and purchase orders (POs).
-  Ensure timely receipt of goods in line with operational capacity and SLA requirements.
-  Communicate receiving requirements (e.g. packaging, palletization, documentation) to customers/suppliers.
-  Monitor carrier performance and address delays or delivery issues.
-  Liaise with warehouse team to align dock availability and staffing levels with incoming loads
-  Escalate delivery discrepancies, late arrivals, or capacity constraints to management.

**Outbound Bookings Responsibilities**
-  Book outbound transport with carriers.
-  Allocate carrier bookings based on service level, cost, and customer requirements
- Generate and distribute shipment documentation including packing lists, collection confirmations and photos.
-  Track and update dispatch statuses within WMS.
-  Communicate with the warehouse team to ensure orders are staged and ready for pickup.
-  Manage and resolve issues related to failed collections or booking delays.
-  Support customer service by providing shipment tracking information and delivery updates.

**General Logistics Coordination Duties**
-  Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound movements.
-  Monitor and update logistics workflows.
-  Collaborate with internal departments customer service, operations, procurement
-  Identify process improvements in logistics planning and scheduling.
-  Ensure compliance with company policies, carrier agreements, and H&S standards.

Working hours are Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 6pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
