We are looking for an Inventory Controller to assist our Finance Team with forecasting and ensure costs are kept within budget.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop expert-level proficiency in the stock management system within D365, ensuring that it is leveraged to its full potential.
- Take charge of purchasing stock items, creating stock lines and ensuring accurate records are maintained for all incoming inventory.
- Effectively manage and monitor the cycle count process, providing weekly reports on the number and accuracy of counts, along with a comprehensive overview of remedial actions taken.
- Drive innovation by introducing and implementing new practices that guarantee precise warehouse stock levels. This includes a meticulous review of the location system and stock rotation practices.
- Conduct financial audits as required, with a specific focus on inventories and stock levels.
- Assist the Finance Team with forecasting and ensure costs are kept within budget, whilst constantly seeking ways to reduce costs at the same time as maintaining quality.
- Purchase and replenish stock lines as needed, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
- Identify high-value items that have not been effectively issued out via Work Orders and allocate them accordingly. Then understand why the ineffective issuing of stock occurred and implement change to reduce the likelihood of this reoccurring.
- Continuously seek opportunities to add value to the inventory management process, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

**Requirements**:

- Ideally, a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience as inventory controller or similar role.
- Excellent understanding of inventory management practices and the implementation of cycle counting regimes.
- Bring in-depth experience working in a warehouse environment, coupled with a willingness to support warehouse activities if needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in numeracy and IT skills, underpinning your ability to excel in inventory control.
