In order to facilitate the growth of our product portfolio we need to recruit a Compliance Assistant to support the team. As our Compliance Assistant you will work closely with the Compliance Manager to ensure all our products comply with the relevant UK, EU and ANZ legislation. You will work with a great team of highly skilled individuals and support a dynamic group of Product Development specialists, so you can expect to learn a lot and really develop your expertise and decision making skills. This role could suit someone from an engineering background who has an interest in product development, or potentially a graduate who is highly numerate with excellent attention to detail. There is plenty of scope for our Compliance Assistant to develop new ways of working and really make your mark on improvements in the team.

**What will I be doing as a Compliance Assistant?**
- Ensure compliance in accordance with appropriate UK, European and Australian laws where appropriate.
- Ensure suppliers are aware of their role in product compliance, particularly with regard to Brexit.
- Maintain the Technical Construction File (TCF) & update with changes in Directives and/or Regulations when required.
- Report on TCF status highlighting any non-compliance and identifying requirements that need renewal.
- Provide support to the QC and Commercial teams on compliance issues, liaising directly with Exclusive brand suppliers.
- Liaise with Trading Standards and Environmental Health Officers as appropriate

- Good IT competence, MS Office Suite - essential
