We are hiring experienced Support Workers to join our Crisis Team in Bournemouth. This is an engaging and varied role, providing high levels of care for adults with complex support needs.
Contributing towards assessments and gathering behavioural data, the role of Specialist Support Worker involves working with the Locality Development Manager, other relevant professionals, and family members to develop personalised support plans.

Specialist Support Worker skills and qualities:
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
- Experience in supporting individuals who experience behaviours of distress is essential for this role.
- Must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards it.
- Experience in positive practice leadership.
- Good working knowledge of active support.
- Experience in supporting complex behavioural needs.
- I.T. literate.
Specialist Support Worker duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting people to learn and develop skills.
- Assisting the people we support with many different aspects of their lives.
- Contribute towards the development of support plans and care packages.
- Demonstrate positive practice leadership and support colleague development.
- Work flexibly with multiple location to support growth and continuity.
