**About The Role**:

PETA are proud to be working with Jamie’s Computers to support them with the recruitment and training of a new Digital Marketing Apprentice. The successful applicant will join the team based in their office in Southampton.

**Training to be provided**:
As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you will be studying towards a level three Digital Marketing apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is 18 months in length and will involve ongoing onsite training and mentoring from Jamie’s Computers team, combined with 17 days of off the job training at the PETA training centre in Cosham.

**About the role**:
The Digital Marketing Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

- Posting news and content about Jamie’s Computers onto Social Media Platforms and the website
- Creating advertising content for trade business shows and host stands along with the Business Manager to generate new business leads
- Engage new customers and help to strengthen the brand
- Make adjustments using WordPress and it’s plugins to help improve the website functionality including SEO
- Follow instructions and guidance from the administrator in completing paperwork for in-house process
- Maintain customer collection and data destruction process information in spreadsheets

**Essential skills**:
To be considered for this role, you must have:

- GCSE Maths and English Grade 4/C or above
- Enthusiastic can-do attitude
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and Windows 10
- A good awareness of IT hardware
- Good communication skills
- Awareness and understanding of Social Media Platforms

**Desirable skills**:

- Experience of demonstrating computer usage and capability to the non-computer literate
- In depth knowledge of IT hardware particularly laptops and desktops
