**UK College of Business and Computing**has a fantastic new opportunity for a **Registry Information Team Officer**to join the team working from home or from the Gants Hill campus in **East London**. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis working 21 hours per week (3 days) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of**£32,000 - £34,000 **pro rata**.**
UKCBC has 2 campuses in London. The College also has a Campus in Dubai International Academic City and teams focused on systems development, marketing support and infrastructure in Cochin (Kochi), Kerala.
**About the Registry Information Team Officer role**:
As our **Registry Information Team Officer,** you will provide a professional service to the whole organisation in setting up and maintaining its curriculum offer on the student records management system.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities of our Registry Information Team Officer**:
- Ensuring that information on the curriculum is recorded accurately and in a way that best supports the business of recruiting and teaching students on the SRMS
- Ensuring that this information is recorded and available at the time it is needed, for planning, prospects, applicants, students, administrators and academic staff
- Maintaining and publishing the 'UKCBC Record’ of the Academic Calendar(s) on the system
- Understanding the meaning of, and ensuring the recording of curriculum information such as learning outcomes and assessment criteria
- Enabling users of the information to understand it and how it works and supports their work in administering, teaching and managing the successful progress of our students
- Managing the production of the timetables by ensuring timetable information is delivered in a timely way by academic managers in a format that can be used for entry by the team in Kerala
- Managing the timetabling system elements that will allow UKCBC to improve the way timetabling is carried out, such as room information and holiday and break information
- Ensuring all processes are documented and continually improved including moving tasks to end users as appropriate using the support of the Systems Team in general and the Systems Officer UX in particular
- Reporting quickly on issues with the timeliness and completeness of the information provided to the team to carry out their work
- Liaising between departments to ensure the smooth process of the learner journey
**What we’re looking for in our Registry Information Team Officer**:
- Qualifications that support a high level of literacy, numeracy and comfort with computer systems will be an advantage but equivalent work experience is equally as desirable
- Experience in being responsible for entering, maintaining and understanding complex structured information on a computer system. For example working in a registry or an academic office, payroll, financial or management accounts, sales support, logisticsetc
- The ability to understand how real world concepts can be represented on a computer system rather than just the ability to data enter
