Night Shift General Operative

**Hours and Salary**
- Monday to Friday
- 10pm - 6am
- Grade 3 £13.20 per hour

**Duties**
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of production, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Operate machinery and equipment as required, following all safety protocols.
- Ensure that all finished products are packed using the appropriate method to the correct customer specification
- Assist on the flow wrap and assist with bagging and sealing of biscuits.
- Undertake cut out and sheeting activities within the sugar pasting operation.
- Assist biscuit removal on bakery take off.
- Assist the bakery department when required for cutting out operation.
- Carry out general cleaning duties / deep cleaning tasks as required maintaining high levels of cleanliness within the work areas.
- Handle materials and products safely, adhering to proper handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support other team members in various tasks as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Report any issues or concerns to management promptly to ensure swift resolution.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience of working within food production/bakery or packing environment would be advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet production set targets and deadlines
- A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices in the workplace.
