**Role**: General Operative

**Shifts available**:
Monday to Friday

**Night Shift **from 10.00 p.m. - 6.00 a.m. (37.5 hours per week)

**Salary**: £13.20 per hour

The role of General Operative may involve a variety of tasks depending on the needs of the business on any particular day. The role may involve helping out in the bakery department, traying up biscuits, sugar pasting, helping with our decorating robot system, packing our biscuit range or involvement in carrying out any specific cleaning tasks. We are accredited by BRCGS and recently achieved the highest grade of AA+ for food safety, therefore it is important to maintain high standards of cleanliness, and ensure production paperwork is completed accurately.

**Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications**:Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure to meet production targets and deadlines, good organisational skills, adaptable and self motivated with good attention to detail. Previous experience of working in a food production/manufacturing environment along with basic health and safety and food hygiene knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
