**Role**: Night Shift Supervisor

**Working Hours**:

- Night Shift
- Monday to Friday
- 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

**Salary**: Grade 1 £14.49 per hour

As a Night Shift Supervisor you will be involved with all aspects of production operations as well as overall supervision of the designated night shift team.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:
Carrying out production operations to ensure the smooth running of the night shift. This could involve tasks such as packing our product range, activities in the bakery including making mixes and cutting out, helping with the robot, sugar pasting, or any other production duties as necessary.
- Completion of production paperwork for Food safety and Health and Safety.
- Reporting non-conforming products to the Production Manager.
- Supervision for direct reports within the night shift production team - Leads a team, motivates the operators to achieve targets and have the correct values and beliefs.
- Responsible for Shift Efficiency of Production Lines and adherence with production plans and set KPI’s.
- Responsible for managing Cost Control Waste control/Labour Cost/Material usage.
- Responsible for reaching pre-defined objectives in compliance with Food Quality, Safety and Environmental Standards
- Ensuring the quality of all Products
- Initiates direct communication with employees on an individual and team basis, with prompt resolution of any employee issues directly with the employees.
- Ensures a consistent roll-out of all new policies, procedures, working practices, company initiatives.
- Promotes innovative solutions to maximise efficiency. Fostering a continuous improvement approach.
- Participate in ad hoc duties as required by the business.

**Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in working within food production and in a supervisory role is essential
- Excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Good interpersonal and listening skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, proven people skills with the confidence to challenge others as necesssary
- Good attention to detail with the ability to work to set targets and deadlines
- Self motivated and the ability to work on own initiative
- Computer literate
