**Job Overview**
**General**
- Assisting the Management Team with marketing activities as required.
- Production of marketing materials and literature, both in-house and with a design agency.
- Coordinating the production of a wide range of marketing communications, both online and offline.
- Leading on Marketing events and exhibitions as required.
- Collation of information for promotional literature and editing/proofing of marketing materials.
- Writing of articles and promotional material for the company as required.
- Preparing interesting and relevant written content for the website and social media.
- Uploading marketing material to the website, online libraries/blogs and social media sites.
- Compilation of marketing reports where applicable.
- Any other reasonable duties as required by the role
**Marketing**
- Deliver and implement marketing strategy across the portfolio of sites - contributing to raising awareness and driving engagement.
- Support the team to plan ahead for quarterly sales campaigns, ensuring the team is organised and on track to deliver.
- Take stock and obtain any new marketing materials required by the department.
- Assist the launch of new products, campaigns and/or services and support the achievement of key targets.
- Maintain the annual marketing calendar and manage the social media accounts, including answering customer queries and comments.
- Organise various forms of market research, such as focus groups and customer surveys.
- Be responsible for producing market research reports where required.
**Social Media**
- Monitor marketing campaign performance and produce monthly KPI reports.
- Develop ideas on how to monitor and grow communication via social media channels and assist the marketing team with the overall social media strategy.
- Manage all aspects of the social media accounts which include but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Manage social media campaigns and day to day activities. Gather content and continually seek content from key individuals across all areas of the business.
- Be an online advocate for the company, writing editorial, community outreach efforts, promotions and promoting events Barrow Forward are affiliated with.
- Manage the company’s presence in social networking sites Work with partner campaigns and look for opportunities to extend the reach of social media content.
- Set benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programmes, and analyse, review and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results.
**Digital Marketing**
- Ensure all digital content is up-to-date and relevant at all times.
- Manage the company website, blog and oy other relevant platforms, developing/updating content and increasing its effectiveness particularly in relation to accruing new members as well as showcasing the company’s events and activities.
- Support the team in the production of new and engaging content on the website as well as the maintenance of up-to-date news, blogs and general content across appropriate web and social media platforms.
- Support with app development & utilising the app for customer retention purposes (push notifications, monitoring analytics, how can we improve).
- Responsible for writing monthly blog posts that appeal to our target audience.
- Build and send the monthly member newsletter, working with other staff members to source the best content to share with members.
- Be responsible for consistently growing the member newsletter audience.
**Projects and Event Management**
- Provide support for ongoing projects and manage a variety of projects as required.
- Seek out and support at events and open days, including weekend and evening working when required
- Helping to set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion.
- Support the team on sourcing branded items for events, suitable for the target audience, to arrive on time and in a presentable condition.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in marketing and communication skills
- Strong analysis skills to evaluate marketing strategies
- Leadership abilities to manage projects and teams
- Proficiency in SEO, Google Ads, and social media management
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and WordPress
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong copywriting skills for effective content creation
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
