Forming part of the Event Operations team, the primary focus of your role as
- **Conference and Events Porter** is to ensure that all conferences, functions, banquets and events are set up ready for the client arrival.

We are looking for
- **Conference and Events Porters** with a good all-round knowledge of events operations and who are passionate about working to high standards. You will need to enjoy communicating with people, have a great eye for detail, fantastic “customer service” skills and excellent organisational skills, and be able to prioritise tasks and adjust as necessary according to demand. Ideal applicants will have previous experience within a Hospitality environment, but not essential as full training will be given.

Your main responsibilities as a Conference and Events Porter will include:

- To set up and clear down events rooms as specified - (includes moving tables, chairs, equipment, stage blocks and dance floors)
- To maintain organisation and maintenance of all events spaces, equipment, storerooms and back of house areas. To communicate effectively, between other departments, other team members in the Events Team, Function Bar team and Event Managers.
- To ensure all equipment is in full working order and suitable for customer use and to report any maintenance issues
- Identify ways to exceed customer expectations, especially through presentation
- To engage with customers at all times ensuring they feel welcome, comfortable and are served to a high standard.
