**About the Role**

Reporting to the Wellbeing Team Lead, a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant will inspire and deliver an exceptional program of meaningful leisure and therapeutic activities that are person centered and which will improve the emotional, mental and physical wellbeing of the people who live in our home.

You will always make sure that residents are at the heart of events and programs to enhance their wellbeing.

You will be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported whilst focussing on how things could be done better and sharing ideas with the rest of the team and wider teams within the Home.

We need team players for whom being professional and respectful to everyone comes naturally and who want to be part of something very special.

Previous experience of working in a care environment is desirable.

Springfield Healthcare Group was founded by our CEO, Graeme Lee. Graeme grew up in our Garforth Care Home, which was owned and run by his parents. Since taking the reins in 1994 the company has grown substantially and always with our residents at the heart of every decision.
