**About the role**:
- We are looking for someone to manage and oversee purchase order documentation while assisting the purchasing department to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of goods and services.
**Responsible for**:
- Provide general administrative support, including checking supplier documentation and data entry.
- Create, review and manage purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm orders and resolve issues.
- Monitor order status and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
- Organise and update purchasing records, contracts and supplier details.
- Assist the purchasing team to track stock levels and manage reordering.
- Assist in assessing supplier reliability and quality of services.
**What experience do you need to have**:
**Essential**:
- Good understanding of Excel, Word and Outlook software
- Good communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good organisational and time-management skills
**Desirable**:
- Experience in working within a purchasing department
