Tax Assistant (Global Mobility)

£11.77/hr PAYE plus hols

Would you like to play a key role within Global Mobility Services? We currently have a vacancy for a Global Mobility Tax Advisor with our client BAE Systems at their site in Preston.

As a Global Mobility Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing technical specialist advice and managing centralised compliance administration across the Global Mobility Service, ensuring compliance with Global Income Taxes and Social Security inhome and host countries.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to support continuous improvement of global tax administration processes with a strong focus on how they can be made more efficient and effective.
Your main responsibilities as a Global Mobility Tax Advisor will involve:
Responsibility for the day to day management of annual tax return processes, requiring regular interaction with BAE Systems external Global Tax Provider and assignees
Responsibility for compensation and benefit data collection and analysis to meet tax filing requirements / host shadow payroll inputs
Managing Tax administration - tax payments, tax fee note validation to ensure compliance
Supporting the Global Mobility Tax Manager in the development of best practice solutions for international mobility compliance that meets the needs of the business in line with policy
Managing central communication with assignees on tax return process requirements
Liaising with employee to facilitate tax refunds and Management of employee tax queries
Supporting the wider compliance team based on team demand, including the immigration and payroll teams.
Your skills and qualifications:
Experience gained within similar personal tax role
International global mobility experience is highly desirable
AAT or CTA qualification desirable not essential
Quality driven, ensuring consistency and compliance
