You will work within our experienced Fixed Income Trading team spread across London and Geneva to achieve best execution in trading all credit products in Developed and Emerging Markets. One of your primary tasks will be to build a new issue bond process liaising with portfolio managers, credit analysts and the syndicated banks. You will also look to add value to the portfolio management process through new issue colour, market flows and from engaging with our counter-parties.**Your role**:

- Place and execute fixed income credit transactions in given markets with third-party brokers in order to achieve 'best execution' on behalf of our institutional clients.
- Use your own discretion to add value to the investment process/trade implementation by:

- Keeping abreast of market conditions
- Ensure knowledge of relevant investment strategies
- Keep trade related/execution costs to a minimum
- Provide feedback and opinion on traded and open positions to investment teams and other traders.
- Mitigate risk in area of execution and control trade related costs.
- Develop strong relationships with portfolio managers and external brokers.

**Your profile**:

- Three to five years’ Buy or Sell side experience trading fixed income credit or derivatives. You may have experience demonstrating best execution but will understand the concept / purpose.
- Strong Python skills and experience with algo-trading are essential. You will also be experienced using Excel.
- Trading technology literate (specifically OMS, Bloomberg, and trading platforms).
- Well-developed communication skills; you will be comfortable interacting and exchanging ideas with other traders, portfolio managers, and brokers and have a good track record engaging with markets.
