Fixed Income Trader

Were currently looking to hire a Fixed Income Trader to join L&G Asset Management Global Trading and Liquidity Management TeamYoull  specialise in the execution of Corporate Bond & CDS trades as well as general rates products for hedging purposes. This is a full-time office-based role and will require a flexible-working pattern as dictated by business volumesWhat youll be doing:Trading a wide range of fixed income products specifically Corporate Bonds & CDS but also general rates products in compliance with client legal and regulatory requirementsUndertaking market-related research including up-to-date knowledge of all relevant technical regulatory and compliance issuesAnalysing market data in order to develop a trading strategy and optimise counterparty selectionMonitoring trades to ensure best execution at all times and timely settlement of all tradesResearch implementation and analysis of Transaction Cost AnalysisFacilitate primary markets activity orders and allocations.Assist with ongoing IT projects & developments system upgrades and system implementationWork with our Trading Research team to analyse process and interpret large trading data sets to improve client outcomes and drive strategyQualifications : Who were looking for:Demonstrable experience in the execution of Corporate Bonds & CDS and good understanding of financial instruments and markets including knowledge of market structure and the mechanics of the trading process through to settlementRelevant Fixed Income trading related experience at a buy-side or sell-side institutionStrong analytical and quantitative skills proficiency in Python or other programming languages are desirable but not requiredExperience in usage of key trading applications such as OMS and Trading platformsStrong academic background; qualifications or progress towards professional certifications such as CFA/IMC are desirable but not requiredWhatever your role we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
