Arrivals Team Member

Longleat is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Arrivals Team Member to join our team and help us continue our tradition of hiring engaged, productive employees. Our Arrivals Team are the first point of contact for our guests as they arrive on site to begin their day of adventure. As a member of this front-line team, your responsibility will be to warmly welcome and greet our guests, providing them with comprehensive information to ensure they have an unforgettable and enjoyable day. Your smile and friendly demeanour will set the tone for their entire experience with us, creating a positive first impression that will last throughout their visit.

**What will this role entail?**

Reporting to our Assistant Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of customer service is provided to all of our guests upon their arrival. You will have a good knowledge of Longleat, and ensure courtesy and attention is given to all guests as well as providing them with any reasonable assistance that may be requested.

Key duties will include:

- Ensure the highest standards of Guest care across the Park by implementing a “Guest comes first” attitude when performing duties. Take ownership for delivery of exceptional standards of Guest service and presentation.
- Maintaining a high standard of communication with guests via face to face.
- Understanding and resolving of guest complaints and enquiries face to face on the day.
- Cash handling, cashing up and financial understanding of process.
- Where appropriate, you’ll also enhance revenue through upselling and cross-selling when engaging with guests and helping them make informed decisions about their visit.
- Passion for delivering a first class customer service.

**What will I need to be considered for this vacancy?**
- Enthusiasm and energy.
- Strong communication skills with a keen, positive and friendly nature.
- Good knowledge of IT products, use of computers and software and keyboard skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, and to bring a good measure of energy to the job.
- Experience in Customer Services or in interfacing with customers is an advantage.
- Due to the remote location of the park and the requirement to drive between our two arrival locations, holding a driving licence is preferable.

This is a permanent contract working a minimum of 312 hours across a 13 week period, with working hours to vary over a 7 day rota basis, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required. The earliest start time is 8am, and the latest finish time is 8pm, varying in accordance with opening times. Position is available for an immediate start.
