A Revenues Officer - Revenues & Benefits is needed for approximately 2 to 3 months.

**Key Responsibilities:
**- Making arrangements to clear debts, chasing missed payments
- Accounts prior to and following the granting of Liability Orders.
- Dealing with accounts at the Enforcement Agents.
- Able to identify what action is required for each debt account
- Looking to move accounts to charging orders, bankruptcy’s and any actions allowable following the Liability Order.

**Qualifications**:

- IRRV qualification - desirable

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience of working in a local authority
- Previous experience of dealing with customers who are in arrears with their council Tax and Business Rates.
- Experience of Northgate systems essential
- Good clear communication skills essential - both to listen, understand and explaincomplex issues
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work without much supervision
