Large Fund Accounting team within Private Equity and Real Estate Investment

**About Our Client**:
Large financial services firm offering investor reporting services to real estate, debt, infrastructure and private equity fund clients with operations. City of London based - Hybrid (4 days in office).

We currently have opportunities for Graduate Accounts Assistants at the early stages of their ACCA or CIMA qualification to join the growing funds team at Accounts Assistant level.

This is a key role for a training account assistant who wants to further develop core knowledge and skills within private equity and real estate investment.
- General accounting and bookkeeping for all transactions and activity across a range of funds, SPVs and structure companies
- Ensuring that all permanent files are adequately maintained for existing customers and new
customers for our clients.
- Preparing bank reconciliations for all client accounts.
- Updating the financial system for all transaction related activity including the recording
of purchase invoices and sales invoices.
- Preparation and amendment of management accounts produced by the team.
- Administration work including the preparation of call notices, distribution notices and dealing
- In addition to the duties listed above, the individual may be requested to perform other ad hoc
duties or projects as requested and as experience is gained.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Interest in reporting and accounting in Private Equity, Real Estate,
- Infrastructure and Fund of Funds firms (our clients).
- Relevant practical work experience would be an advantage
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
- Intermediate / Advanced excel and word skills required.
- The individual must have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
- Numeracy and good written skills.
- Keeness to study for the ACCA or CIMA qualification (study support will be provided)
