Altum are excited to partner with a FTSE listed property company to find them a Graduate Accounts Assistant who can work with a small group finance team and take responsibility for the financial management across multiple functions and entities. This isan excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with an accounting degree (or similar) to get into the job market and join a well-established company to become a part of their continued growth.

Reporting to the Assistant Management Accountant, you will support on the monthly management accounts, and have the opportunity to collaborate with people across different departments and levels. You will be joining a fast paced environment that will giveexposure to all aspects of the business and offers excellent career trajectory.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supporting the Assistant Management Accountant with the accounting across entities:

- Maintaining the general ledger and posting journals
- Assisting on the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Monthly nominal account reconciliations, e.g., bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepayment schedules
- Assisting with the annual budgeting and re-forecasting process
- Supporting on the year end and interim group reporting requirements
- Establishing ad hoc payment requests on the banking system, verifying bank details, guaranteeing payments comply with the group policy and efficiently filing these payments
- Managing intercompany transactions e.g., invoicing, reconciliations, cash settlement, and ledger settlements
