Join a blue-chip Medical Device organisation as a Therapy Specialist to train Nurses on their leading Renal portfolio within ICUs in hospitals across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

As well as training customers, the Therapy Specialist will also promote the clinical benefits and safety of the fluids and solutions that work in conjunction with the dialysis machines.

This is an excellent position for an ICU Nurse looking to move into a training position

**Ideal Requirement**
- A Registered Nurse with ICU experience is required.
- Ideally some experience with Renal Therapy.
- Ideally some training experience would be beneficial.
- Previous use of our clients’ Renal products would be advantageous.
- Located within Scotland - flexibility to travel when required.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Act as the prime educational and spokesperson on products and therapies.
- Responsible for developing solutions to complex problems within the operations of the customers’ environment.
- Support sales and marketing teams with the necessary products information to accomplish sales objectives.
- Provide clinical and professional expertise to internal and external customers (both pro-actively and need-based).
- Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned customers and plan site visits with them.
- Provide customer feedback and act as a Consultant to sales and marketing teams on designing and improving new / existing products and customer needs.
- Visit assigned customers to prospect and generate sales while achieving the set sales targets.
- Conduct customer needs analysis and develop tactics to resolve customer issues.
- Develop customer partnerships in order to maximise operational effectiveness through educational programs on product / therapy utilisation.
- Assist marketing in the development, design, coordination and implementation of training programs and product / therapy usage guides for internal and external customers.
- Guarantee awareness of product portfolio and benefits through communication all relevant information to all clients.
- Deal with customer complaints and take appropriate actions following internal processes and procedures.

**Role Specific Competencies**
- Basic knowledge required on Word, Excel, Lotus notes, PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team player.
- Flexible can-do attitude.
