The Reservist Programme is a ground-breaking workforce programme for the NHS in England. Reservists are employed by Somerset Foundation Trust as the host employer & form part of a reserve pool of staff who work alongside substantive staff & volunteers as and when required in a very flexible manor.
You will embrace the challenge of working in a demanding and busy environment, displaying your ability to maintain a high standard of work whilst working under pressure.
- Support with coordination & preparation of Reservist Recruitment Events/Interview panels
- Explore keeping in touch & social activities for Reservists
- Act as a champion for the Reservist programme both internally & externally

- Support Reservists with any ad-hoc queries. These may include pay, rostering, role opportunities, expenses and uniform queries
- Autonomously managing, planning, organising and delivering multiple key and complex workstreams within the Reservist programme. Including recruitment events and campaigns, communication and engagement activity, the Reservist log, keeping in touch calls and events and retention plans
- Create project spreadsheets and databases to ensure data is appropriately managed and to have ownership as to the management of this data including data entry and creation of data returns.
- Travel across Somerset is a requirement for this role for team meetings, meetings with hiring managers, recruitment events and any other service needs
