We support the entire product life cycle, from original design input, pre-sales testing, local customisation and configuration through to our field support activities that include technical assistance as well as product repair, replacement and refurbishment programs.
**The Role**
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team on site in Glenrothes. This role will work closely with our materials Manager to drive and deliver warehouses processes, through the motivation and encouragement of our greatest asset, our people. The Warehouse Supervisor will have responsibility for our people, health & safety, continuous improvement and efficient management of the warehouse. This is a hands-on role.
**Key Job Responsibilities**
- Effectively manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and a team of Operatives.
- Ensure that all orders are filled accurately and on time.
- Ensure that standards relating to quality, health & safety, training, 5s are always maintained at the highest level. Challenge and address behaviour which falls short of expected standards, at all levels.
- Proactively seek and encourage the team to identify opportunities to improve processes or procedures. Act as ambassador for continuous improvement activities and celebrate improvements when identified.
- Coach and develop the warehouse team.
- Ensure that your team deliver consistent high standards of performance, conduct, attendance, and timekeeping. When areas of concern are identified, take responsibility for managing the situation both fairly and consistently and in a timely manner, utilising the support functions available.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
- Manage the security of the warehouse.
- Daily meetings with warehouse team to communicate workload, assign tasks and communicate any business updates.
- Build lasting relationships with 3rd party providers.
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required within the scope of your role.
**Background**
- Minimum 2 years’ leadership experience, preferably in logistics/transport warehouse operation.
- Provan experience in a warehouse environment including knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution Processes.
- Ability to use your own initiative.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Excellent time management.

- You understand the importance of adopting a positive and energetic approach to any task given.
- You are relentless when it comes to promoting safe working practices and will take all possible steps to ensure that the health and wellbeing of our employees is never compromised.
**Skills**
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop professional working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse and Health and safety policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of logistics IT systems.
- IT skills are essential (Excel, Windows, Microsoft Word).
- Excellent professional and time management skills are essential.
- Prioritise workload independently.
- FLT (desirable).
