**Title**: Warehouse Driver and Packer

**Reporting to**: Customer Services Manager

**Location**: Glenrothes

**Principal Objectives**:The overall objective of the job is to carry out all driving tasks, delivery within the local area main Routes Dundee and Glasgow once or twice daily. You will also be responsible when in the warehouse to assist with packing.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Under instruction from the Customer Services Manager the Driver will undertake a variety of tasks to ensure that any particular job is loaded, restrained, delivered on time, to the customer satisfaction and to the required quality standard. The variety of tasks could include all driving details as required by the Company and packing product for shipping when not on the road.

The Warehouse Driver and Packer is responsible for maintaining a level of responsibility and duty of care towards their own health & safety and that of their colleagues when at work and to be aware of any risks and dangers and where appropriate inform their Supervisor and take action on their own initiative to reduce the risk. The correct PPE **MUST** be worn at all times.

Maintain effective communication with the Supervisor and other Supervisory staff passing on information, highlighting concerns and problems with regards to any jobs.

Plan a job through and clarify any areas of confusion with relevant parties prior, to avoid any mistakes or misunderstandings. Identify any hazards or problems you may encounter on any job and inform relevant parties of the problem to the best of your ability.

Maintain good relations with other members of the company along with client representatives. Work as part of the team contributing to the team in a constructive manner.

Keep good attendance at work and good time keeping with regards to times of work to include break and lunch times.

Ensure compliance with the company vehicle serving schedule and company driving procedures.

All of the above roles/responsibilities should be carried out in accordance with the agreed procedures.

**Experience**

Minimum 3 yrs Driving experience.

Cat C Licence (Class 2)

Tachograph Card
