Edinburgh Whisky is an independent bottler and blender established in 2013. Based in the heart of Leith, we are the creators of several award-winning spirit brands that are sold across the globe.

We are looking for a full time Bottling Team Lead to join us at our cask maturation warehouse in Glenrothes. On the job training and career progression will be forthcoming as the business grows.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Planning and management of all bottling tasks.
- Accurate record keeping when performing bottling operations
- To maximise the effective use of resources to carry out all warehouse operations in line with business goals and objectives
- Maintain integrity and security of warehouse operations in accordance with H.M. Customs and Excise requirements
- Filling, labelling, capping of all bottles, ensuring spirit quality, compliance and integrity are at the forefront of every decision
- Stock management and rotation of bottled & dry goods
- Dilution and calculation of spirit to achieve target ABV
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- Responsible for the management of dry goods & bottled goods incoming and out
- Responsible for completion of bottling records.
- Maintaning stock levels of all sundries for the warehouse.

**Skillset**
- Technical and hands-on practical ability
- Physically fit and able to manually handle full casks
- Relevant forklift experience is preferable
- Experience with alcoholic drinks bottling.
- Self-motivated - ability to remain motivated when working by themselves
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines
- High attention to detail, especially to quality standards and compliance systems
- Ability to cope with change in a growing business
- Ability to plan and lead a small team.

**Personal Requirements**
- Experience in a spirits bottling environment
- Experience working logístically or manually with spirits is preferred
- UK Driver’s license
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Communicate effectively across business using a variety of communication mediums

Pay: £28,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
